RightCrowd Unveils RightCrowd Pass to Unify Enterprise Credentialing Systems

RightCrowd has introduced RightCrowd Pass, a comprehensive credentialing solution designed to issue and manage mobile, physical, and biometric access credentials from a single platform.

Many large enterprises and universities continue to rely on legacy badge programs deployed years ago. As organizations adopt mobile and biometric credentials, access architectures frequently fracture into three isolated systems, creating administrative overhead and leaving security teams without a unified operational view of space permissions.

RightCrowd Pass consolidates all three access modes into a single program. Mobile credentials are provisioned dynamically through a web-based API, enabling security and IT administrators to issue, suspend, and revoke credentials directly within their existing management workflows without deploying an additional console.

“Most mobile credential products ask IT to deploy a new app and manage another console just to put a badge on someone’s phone,” said Troy Johnston, VP of Credential Technologies at RightCrowd. “Security and IT teams tell us the result is a group of mobile users they cannot fully see or manage alongside everyone else. We built RightCrowd Pass so mobile credentials never become a blind spot — they are part of the same access program from day one.”

According to RightCrowd statistics, traditional administrative tasks involving lost or damaged physical badges cost teams an average of 12.2 minutes per incident, excluding production and shipping overhead. With RightCrowd Pass, individual or bulk mobile credentials can be suspended or revoked in under 60 seconds, drastically reducing response windows for security personnel.

The platform ties each mobile credential to a specific device via two-factor authentication, mitigating the elevated risk profile associated with traditional physical cards. Furthermore, the digital-first approach minimizes plastic card manufacturing, allowing organizations to accumulate sustainability credits under green building frameworks such as LEED and BREEAM.

RightCrowd Pass offers native compatibility with existing enterprise hardware infrastructure, including technology from HID, Wavelynx, and LEGIC. The software integrates seamlessly across doors, elevators, turnstiles, parking structures, lockers, and secure printers, permitting deployment without standardizing on a single hardware vendor.

The solution is available immediately for new and existing customers. Organizations currently utilizing RightCrowd SmartAccess can integrate RightCrowd Pass into their deployments, while new users can later expand to full Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) capabilities without vendor migration.
